“Picture Perfect Prom” Event Features Gently Used Dresses
Wake Forest, N.C., – Growing Child Pediatrics is hosting a “Picture Perfect Prom” event on Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for young ladies who may not otherwise have an opportunity to get a dress for an upcoming prom. More than 75 gently used prom and formal dresses in a variety of sizes will be given away at the practice’s Wake Forest location at 11130 Capital Boulevard, by the Golden Corral.Event organizers Mandy Johnson, PNP and Joanne Wagner, MD have been collecting donated dresses at all seven locations of Growing Child Pediatrics throughout the Triangle. Everyone is welcome to attend the event. Light refreshments will be served as the young ladies peruse and select a dress to take home for free.
“We had a very successful Picture Perfect Prom event last year and wanted to continue the tradition,” said Johnson, a nurse practitioner at the Wake Forest location of Growing Child Pediatrics. “This is just one way our practice is giving back to the community.”
